Legacy City Preservation: A National Conversation on Innovation + Practice

Legacy City Preservation: A National Conversation on Innovation + Practice (Newark, NJ 6-8:30pm, Dec 8, 2015)

Join us for Legacy City Preservation: A National Conversation on Innovation + Practice, a free public event showcasing exciting new approaches to preservation in legacy cities to align with the launch of the game-changing Action Agenda for Historic Preservation in Legacy Cities.

Hear PechaKucha-style speakers share innovative preservation projects underway in legacy cities across the nation, and discuss legacy city preservation with national doers and thinkers. Get one of the first copies of the acton agenda and see firsthand how Newark is using its heritage to reimagine itself for the 21st century. The first fifty ‘Early Bird’ sign-ups are guaranteed spots to tour the in-progress rehabilitation of the Hahne & Co. Building, a 500,000-square-foot landmarked building being reinvented by Rutgers - Newark and partners as a major hub for arts and education.

You can learn more details about the event and the Action Agenda, as well as register, at the PRN website.
