Deals and Ideals: For-Profit and Not-For-Profit Arts Connections

At two meetings in November, 1998 and March, 1999, participants identified potential connections between for-profit and not-for-profit arts, and whether and how such connections might be formalized and expanded. Benefits of collaboration include shared risk and resources, development of niche audiences, increased nurturing of emerging talent, and development of new technologies in increase audiences.
